She was born in Italy and moved to Manhattan at 13. As the eldest of 9, she was her mother’s right hand, helping to raise her younger siblings. According to my dad, she was smart and kind but didn’t take any shit. She was a beautiful singer. Her sisters were her best friends, and family was the most important thing to her.

She taught my sister how to bake, and would always make bananas splits after dinner. She loved our mom like her own daughter. Her and my other grandma we’re so close, they used to have sleepovers (how cute?) My niece and nephews called her pinchy nana cause she was always pinching our cheeks.

She was the true matriarch of my family.

Jewelry Care & Info
Each piece is handcrafted and may include vintage or delicate materials. To preserve its quality and extend its life, I recommend the following:

  • Avoid contact with water, sweat, perfumes, lotions, etc.
  • Do not wear while showering, swimming, or exercising
  • Keep it safe in the pouch it comes in to avoid tangling/scratches

Each piece comes in a pouch made from upcycled fabric, sewn by Mercedes in Yonkers – who I met at a church flea market – how very on brand of me;)

Please note: Due to the use of repurposed and vintage components, slight variations or signs of wear are part of the piece's character and charm. All sales are final.

Many of the beads and charms used are thrifted or vintage, and as such, their exact materials or origins may not be known. Each piece is made with care, but we cannot always guarantee specific compositions or metal content. If you have known metal allergies or sensitivities, please shop thoughtfully.

Thanks for loving pieces with a past — and keeping them out of landfills!
